Training Needs Analysis Engineer

Would you like to be a part of a team designing and delivering Naval Training Solutions within Maritime Services?
We currently have a number of vacancies for Training Needs Analysis Engineers in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
As a Training Needs Analysis Engineer, you will undertake Training Needs Analysis and Instructional Design during development and support phases of the training lifecycle to agreed timescales and budget. You will also attend and/or chair meetings/workshops with industry, customer and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture data efficiently and accurately.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders as well as the chance to work on prestigious maritime programmes for the Royal Navy.
Responsibilities of a Training Needs Analysis Engineer:
Conduct Training Needs Analysis in accordance with a recognised Systems Approach to Training.
Conduct Instructional Design in accordance with a recognised Systems Approach to Training.
Undertake and support solution integration & acceptance activities.
Develop customer and stakeholder relations.
Adhere to and promote Systems Governance, Configuration and Change Control processes.
Provide training related subject matter expertise to technical and engineering authorities.
Support the procurement of training media through the provision of subject matter expertise advice and guidance.
Support training planning activities through the provision of subject matter expertise advice and guidance.
Your skills and qualifications:
Training Needs Analysis experience gained from a Navy / Defence related environment
Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT)
Have a working knowledge of Training Lifecycle Management
Knowledge of Royal Navy surface fleet branch structures and their associated training pipelines
