Brief

Training Solutions Engineer needed for a leading multinational defence organisation based in the Westbury area who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Training Solutions Engineer that takes pride in their work.

The successful Training Solutions Engineer desirably be educated to degree level, or equivalent professional/vocational qualification.

What the role of the Training Solutions Engineer entails:

Some of the main duties of Training Solutions Engineer will include:

• Requirements Derivation
• Assisting with Proposal writing

• Bespoke Software/Hardware interfaces and embedded systems
• Modelling and Systems design using tools such as UML
• Translate business requirements into appropriate technical specifications
• Manage your time effectively to develop effective solutions to cost and quality targets
• Project planning
• Maintenance and reporting of Budgets
• Preparing and Presenting Technical demonstrations
• Provide technical input to programme management and commercial staff and support where required in the use of LM and industry tools
• Any additional programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence and skill set.

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organisation both internally and with the customer

What experience you need to be the successful Training Solutions Engineer:

• Degree or experience in a related field
• Understanding of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices. (TOGAF, UML/SysML, DOORS)
• Exposure to vehicle SIMS
• Previous experience working with MoD IT Programmes

• Appropriate Security Clearance

• Knowledge and exposure to Simulation and experience with interacting with Hardware and Software teams
