An immediate opportunity exists for a RF Systems Design Engineer to become part of a team of experienced industry accredited engineers. Responsible for undertaking design, planning installation and commissioning of fully integrated systems, to ensure continued and reliable service is maintained.

Some of the main duties of the RF Systems Design Engineer will be:

  • Radio and Wireless System Designs / Wireless & Radio coverage plans
  • Undertake equipment trials and evaluations
  • Testing and Verification
  • Working on project requirements such as maintenance, installations or upgrades
  • Attend customer locations as required to conduct Wireless & Radio related activities

What you need to be the successful RF Systems Design Engineer:

In order to be the successful RF Systems Design Engineer, you will need to be equipped with the following:

  • Design: Radio planning; Cell planning, microwave planning, indoor radio planning and design (e.g. Wi-Fi)
  • RF Planning and Engineering with proficient use of Planning tools - iBwave, iBuildNet, ICS, Ekahau; DAS Solution
  • Installation and Commissioning
  • All aspects of testing; Carrier wave testing via backpack or vehicle mounted receiver equipment.
  • Willing to work outside and willing to work at height
  • This is an office/field-based role. Full UK driving licence essential
