We are working with leading telecommunication provider and they have an opportunity for a Works Programmer to join their team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a Works Programmer with previous telecomms, utilities or civils experience to join a young, growing business in Yorkshire.
As the Works Programmer, you will be responsible for the coordination and tracking of work activity across multiple projects with a variety of different clients. This will involve regular contact with Project Managers and on-site Supervisors. Some of your other responsibilities will include:
- Accepting and scheduling work to meet the contract requirements
- Validating each job to ensure all the required information is available
- Communicating with all operational staff to identify early issues
- Record data on to the work management system
- Prioritise and schedule the workstack
- Monitor all the relevant client systems to deliver the clients specifications
- Ensure the programme is working inline with the agreed SLA's
Works Programmers considering this opportunity must have:
- Previous experience working within a highways maintenance, streetworks, utilities or civil engineering role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong eye for detail
- Confident when using various IT packages including Excel & Outlook
