Customer Service Administrator - Stratford - £15 an hour

Customer Service Administrator needed due to a backlog of works for 2024 within an energy and utilities organisation in the Stratford, London area. My client are therefore in urgent need of a Customer Service Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis of up to 6 months.

Due to the nature of this role we require ALL candidates applying to be on a notice period of no more than 2 weeks.

What the role entails:

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Setting up RSA new accounts. Contacting our residents to sign up for a new account for the business to be able to bill customers.
  • COT - process move out and generate final invoice if required.
  • Allocate unassigned payments- investigate and trace.
  • Letter download/ sort and upload to printer
  • Meter data entry for manual meter entry
  • Meter engineer report, reactive jobs- call customers to arrange appointment for meter investigation
  • Liaising with engineers and head office to coordinate work orders
  • Managing schedules and bookings for engineers
  • Contacting resident to book in HIU Inspection appointments (current backlog for 2024 is approx. 4500 appointments to be booked in)
  • Sending out termination letter to empty properties not being billed under void .
  • Running monthly report to the business regarding finance and consumptions

Experience required for the Customer Service Administrator position

  • This role will require a high standard of Customer Services and Administrative excellence, along with robust working practices needed to meet the challenges of this demanding environment.
  • Ideally with some technical/financial background would be of benefit, the successful candidates will also have MS Office skills and a 'can-do' approach to a variety of co-ordination and administrative functions
  • Utility industry background would be of benefit (heating) or similar
