Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Quantum)
Location: Leeds, Yorkshire
Salary: up to £90,000 + package

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead and develop a regional office for a busy and growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Yorkshire. Based from their office in Leeds, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be developing a small team and growing revenue from both new and existing clients across a region that covers Leeds in the East, Liverpool in the West and as far south as Birmingham.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be supported by an experienced team of Quantum and Delay professionals working for a wide array of clients within the infrastructure & building sectors. Some of the Senior Quantity Surveyor's key duties will include:

• Building on existing relationships with warm clients to secure more work
• Working closely with the board to develop ideas to promote the business to new clients
• Attending regional networking events to promote the business
• Providing an array of commercial dispute resolution and claims related services including preparation of claims for loss & expense, preparation of adjudication documents, drafting of written reports, sharing your knowledge of standard forms of contract including JCT, NEC & FIDIC and assisting with the provision of other services to different clients

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to be confident and passionate about the business, willing to promote it to the right people to grow revenue and develop the region. You'll need first class communication skills, a keen interest in construction law & dispute resolution and working towards or recently attained a MSc in Construction Law. You'll also need to live within a reasonable commute of the office in Leeds City Centre.
