2nd Line Desktop Engineer

2nd Line Desktop Engineer who speaks fluent French / English needed for a leading managed services provider organisation who are looking to employ an experienced 2nd Line Desktop Engineer for a client of theres on-site in Liege, Belgium

The successful 2nd Line Desktop Engineer will want to work for this client not just because it's a great opportunity but also because they will give you a wealth of benefits including:

Some of the main duties of the 2nd Line Desktop Engineer will include:

  • Provide high-level customer care and build relationships with customers
  • Take support requests (1st, 2nd) and log them in the CRM system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues from all escalations
  • Accurately communicate the effectiveness of equipment and software relative to the technology strategy.
  • Utilise the ticket logging system with accurate note logging and technical troubleshooting
  • Help peers with technical issues where required
  • Liaising with 3rd party software vendors
  • Work toward achieving team and company KPIs
  • Determine root causes and implement short/ long term fixes where appropriate

In order to be the successful 2nd Line Desktop Engineer and have a chance to gain such an exciting opportunity you will ideally need to have most of the following:

  • Speak Fluent French & English - is a MUST
  • Service-Now & ITIL (Incident & Request Management, Asset Management, KB usage)
  • Support of Windows 7-10 environments
  • Support of Office 365 applications
  • Laptop/Desktop SCCM Imaging
  • Laptop/Desktop configuration & troubleshooting
  • MS Surface Hub, Lenovo ThinkSmart, Polycom VOIP phone configuration
  • Audio/Video conferencing support, Skype for Business
  • ADSP user & computer management
  • Software rollouts & project management
  • OKTA Admin
  • Symantec VIP Access/Cisco AnyConnect VPN client
  • iPhone/iPad setup
  • MobileIron MDM administration
  • Box Sync/Box Drive installs & troubleshooting
  • Network printer basic troubleshooting
  • "Follow me Print" support
  • Bomgar Remote Desktop Support client
