Salary level expected to be in the region of £40,000 - £60,000 plus discretionary bonus.

For someone who would focus more on pure 'book-building' and steer away from some of the more origination part, our client would look at giving some additional comp based on a 'fingerprints on the deal' basis, as that's where you would add value. For someone more 'go-getter' who might spend the first 6-18 months learning the ropes and building some decks but ultimately then start executing their own deal flow, you would be incentivised in the region of 10-30% share of the fees from that deal depending on whether it was just your borrower with one of their known lenders, or vice versa, or both.
