We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Estimator to join a busy, growing and forward thinking fit out & refurbishment contractor based in Central London. The role will give the successful candidate a platform that includes exposure to a wide array of different projects alongside the opportunity to work closely with an experienced team and quickly progress your career.
The successful Assistant Estimator will be working closely with the design team and project managers and tasked with pricing projects valued from £1m to £8m across Central & Greater London. In most cases, you'll be pricing from drawings and liaising with the internal specialist teams to agree project costs. These projects will be for a variety of clients including those within the tech, fashion, legal, leisure and commercial sectors. They also undertake some specialist work for repeat clients.
Assistant Estimators considering this opportunity will need to have some previous experience pricing work within the UK's construction industry, ideally in the role of an Estimator or QS. Your previous experience must be from within the UK but can include time spent with a main contractor, specialist subcontractor or another fit out/refurbishment contractor. You'll also need excellent communication skills, drive and ambition, motivation and live within a reasonable commute of Central London.
