An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join a leading main contractor on a recently won project based in Newcastle. The Assistant Planning Engineer will join a major name in the UK construction industry, an organization that specializes in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will be site based on an £80m project due for completion in 2024. They will be responsible for providing day to day planning support to the Planning Manager. Duties will include updating construction programmes, creating, maintaining and reviewing programmes of work, providing weekly and monthly reports on progress, communicating the construction programme to the site team.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will be provided with a clear career map, a detailed development programme which will enable them to understand what steps they need to take to climb the career ladder.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will have a civil engineering background a site based experience working within a main contracting environment. They will additional be experienced using Primavera P6 planning software and keen to develop a rewarding career within planning.
