A top opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planner to join a dynamic and growing construction business in the North West who have a very strong pipeline of work across the region.
The Assistant Planner will report into the Planning Manager and be responsible for providing day to day planning support to their live projects across Manchester and Liverpool. The Assistant Planner will split their time between different live sites, updating progress and interrogate programmes.
The Assistant Planner will gain valuable exposure to planning techniques used within the UK construction industry whilst being involved on a portfolio of exciting residential and mixed used schemes. They will receive industry leading training and development, an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring Planning Engineer.
The Assistant Planner will have a background in construction and be keen to develop a long and rewarding career in planning. A construction related qualification would be a distinct advantage and experience using Asta Powerproject planning software.
Candidate
- Experience working within a main contracting environment
- Previous experience using Asta Powerproject planning software
- Hold a construction related qualification - HND / HNC / Degree
- Good understanding of construction processes and techniques
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Asta Powerproject
