An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planner / Planner to join a leading main contractor on a major £1bn framework. The Assistant Planner / Planner will join an experience team who are responsible for delivering a number of key projects designed to upgrade the UK's defence assets across the South Coast.
The Assistant Planner / Planner will be responsible for providing planning support to projects across the Southern Home Counties - Kent, Sussex & Hampshire. They will gain exposure of the full life-cycle projects, involvement from tender stage through to completion. They will work closely with the Planning Manager and will split their working week between their office in West Sussex, various sites in the region and remote working.
The Assistant Planner / Planner will join a major name in the UK construction industry, an organization that specializes in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. They can offer at least 6 years of secured work in the local region and genuine career opportunities for the right individual.
Candidate
- Some planning experience preferably gained within a main contracting environment
- Experience using planning software packages either MS Project or Primavera P6
- NEC contract experience is essential
- Preferably a construction related qualification - HNC / HND / Degree
- Site based experience
- Excellent communication skills
