An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer to join the specialist ground engineering division of a leading tier one main contractor based in Birmingham. They will provide day to day planning support to the Senior Planning Engineer one of the enabling works packages for the high profile HS2 project.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will join a leading name in the construction industry, a tier one main contractor who are recognized for their expertise in delivering complex major infrastructure schemes across the UK.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will work closely with an experienced Senior Planner and play a key role in supporting a range of activities involved in the project planning life-cycle. They will assist in the management of the construction programme in Primavera P6 and help to communicate the programme to the site team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Planning Engineer to gain valuable major project experience whilst gaining exposure to planning techniques used by a highly regarded name in the construction industry.
The Assistant Planning Engineer will have operational experience gained as a Site Engineer or Site Agent and also planning experience which has been gained on small to medium sized projects within the construction industry. They will need to be experienced users of Primavera P6 and have a good knowledge of construction processes and techniques.
