A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Planning Engineer with an engineering background to join a leading main contractor on a multi-billion framework for their key client Thames Water. They will join a major name in the construction industry who have a wealth of experience within the UK water industry delivering key projects for local water authorities up and down the country.
Based in Reading the Assistant Planning Engineer will join an experienced team that are responsible for delivering a large portfolio of multi-disciplinary projects across the Thames Valley region. The will provide the Senior Planning Engineer and the Planning Manager with day to day planning support. They will be involved on projects throughout their full life-cycle from cradle to grave.

- They are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience.
Candidate
- Construction related qualification - HNC / HND/ Degree
- Site based experience gained within a main contracting environment
- Previous experience utilizing planning software packages, preferably Primavera P6
- NEC contract experience would be a distinct advantage
- Team player
- Possess strong communication skills
