Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Graduate
East Sussex
I have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Graduate to join a successful construction contractor, working on a range of high and smaller value contracts. My client has exciting growth plans, an experienced and driven management team and a secured pipeline of work on some key projects.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for?
- Contract Negotiation
- Assist with management of the tender process
- Cost Value reporting
- Change control & variations
- Upstream & downstream reporting
- Keeping the senior management team up to speed with progress of the works
- Understanding client's requirements to ensure client satisfaction
- Assisting the commercial team with month end figures
- Developing good working relationships with the stakeholders
- Checking works orders for completeness and accuracy
- Liaising with subcontractors and dealing with invoices
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Qualifications/ Experience:
- Degree in Quality Surveying or similar
- NEC3 Experience (preferred)
- Some experience within a similar sector e.g. construction, civil engineering, rail, highways is desirable
