Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Leicester
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + package
We are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a £20m healthcare project in the centre of Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of cost and contract administration, as well as providing support to the senior Quantity Surveyor on site.
Some of the Assistant Quantity Surveyors key duties & responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets
- Assisting in the preparation of tender and contract documents
- Assisting in the management of subcontractor accounts
- Assisting in the measurement and valuation of variations and final accounts
- Provide support to the senior Quantity Surveyor on site

Assistant Quantity Surveyors considering this position will need to have the following experience and qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of a HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and cost management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
