Job Title: Associate Director (Quantum)

Salary: £80,000 to £100,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Director from a Quantity Surveying background to join a busy consultancy providing commercial support and dispute resolution services to construction & engineering clients across the UK. The Associate Director will be involved with providing Quantum/Commercial services for multiple clients and managing project related costs and value reporting from initial budget estimates to final figures across the full project lifecycle.
As an Associate, you will play a key role in generating repeat business and winning new work, contributing towards the development of the business plan, and driving initiatives to achieve those plans. You will work closely with the senior management team and other colleagues to identify opportunities to cross-sell complimentary services and lead multi-disciplinary teams of varying sizes.
The Associate Director will also be responsible for delivering plans and managing the provision of consultancy services on projects from inception to handover, writing, editing, and preparing client reports, as well as reviewing commercial situations and advising clients accordingly.
The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of various measurement rules, cost planning, cost reporting, and contract administration alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an excellent understanding of delay analysis techniques, construction law, and the impact of change, delay, and disruption upon a project cost. You will have experience working with different forms of contracts, including NEC and JCT.
