Associate Financial Analyst
London, £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus
An excellent opportunity within a London based Investment team who are looking to appoint a confident and capable Associate level Analyst who will produce financial models across a handful of European property portfolios. Working within a professional and friendly team of 10, the role would suit a Financial Analyst who has experience working within private equity/banking.
The position will require occasional travel (Austria, Switzerland etc).
The remit will be to provide support to the investment team, analysing prospective investments, taking into consideration commercial, financial and operational characteristics, current market and competitor situations, and other deal aspects, making recommendations about the viability of the investment projects.
Contributing to the structuring, financing, execution and documentation of investment projects.
Supporting the team with various analytical work, financial modelling, due diligence and various ad-hoc analyses.
Preparing investment, divestment, debt and equity memoranda and various marketing materials.
Producing research into the markets and economies and preparing market updates and summaries.
Assisting the investment and asset management teams during the divestment process of fund-owned real estate assets, preparing divestment marketing documents and memoranda, financial modelling and ad-hoc sales related analyses.
We are keen to speak with Analysts who have a high level of experience producing detailed models in Excels, with a minimum of 2 years direct real estate experience within private equity, investment banking.
Must have good technical, numerical and financial modelling skills, and excellent attention to detail, capable of building financial models from scratch.
You will have knowledge of the real estate sector / M&A / financing.
Educated to at least degree level and have obtained a high grade within a relevant subject such as Mathematics / Finance / Economics, and have a history of high academic achievements.
