A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a leading main contractor for a bid manager, familiar with new build residential construction and refurbishment projects to join a growing team in Sheffield.
The Bid Manager will be working on a variety of projects covering an area that stretches from Cumbria in the West to Hull in the East and as far north as the Scottish border. You'll be responsible for working with the design, estimating and pre construction team as well as internal stakeholders, consultants and future clients. Your involvement will last for the full pre construction life cycle and you'll be responsible for overseeing the full bid management process.
Bid Managers considering this role will need to have experience working for a large main contractor, ideally with some exposure to large scale residential refurbishments or new build construction projects. You'll also need to be familiar with two stage tender processes and have excellent communication skills.
The successful Bid Manager will be offered a competitive salary & package that includes:
