£42,000 to £48,000 + Tailored Commission + Benefits Package
I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a new and exciting business that has plans to revolutionise the way our homes and offices consume power. As part of a small, close knit team, the Business Development Manager will play a key role in securing new business from future clients whilst also building long lasting relationships with their existing client base; This includes businesses across the country from housing associations and private developers through to schools, universities & colleges.
What will you be doing?
Working closely with the company & operations directors, you'll be tasked with generating and delivering sales for clients that could utilize a new, innovative technology that aims to reduce the clients power consumption by around 70%.
You'll be responsible for the full life cycle of the sales process. This will include pre-sales where you'll need to identify prospective clients, discuss their current usage and advise them on how this new technology could ultimately save them money.
With the sale secured, you'll then need to monitor the process, ensuring the delivery lives up to their expectations and finally you'll need to oversee the post sales process; assessing and evaluating your clients satisfaction with the service, helping with any concerns and queries etc.

What experience will you need?

- Good communication skills
- At least 3 years of business development experience within an energy, power, house building or construction environment
