Business Development Manager

£50,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Bonus Structure

Business Development Manager required by a successful bridging loan company based in Central London, who are experiencing a period of growth. The Business Development Manager will need to hit the ground running utilising their current experience of working within the bridging space.

Working closely as part of a small team whilst reporting in to one of the Partners, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for pitching the business model across your broker network and direct clients.

It is essential that you have a strong Business Development background from within the Bridging/Development Finance environment and have an established client base of brokers/developers within the UK.

Duties for the successful Business Development Manager will include:

  • Overall remit is to push revenue by way of understanding and aligning the companies solutions to the client's objectives and needs.
  • You will be creating ideas for clients on how the company offering fits into their strategy and effectively communicate those ideas via sales presentations (virtual & in-person, as possible).
  • Effectively engage with brokers by email and phone/video from initial contact to closed deal.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts in conjunction with the team.
  • Research and become a knowledge expert in industry trends and information.
  • Execution responsibility for developing and maximizing market opportunities.
  • Be responsible for generating a network of potential clients and developing new business as well as managing existing relationships that may be assigned.
  • Presentation of marketing material in relation to a portfolio of the organization's identified targeted client base.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Property and Development Finance market, products, and solutions with property related brokers/developers' network within the UK.
  • Educated to Degree level.
  • Able to network and be committed to creating and developing business relationships.
  • Strong credit skills and direct experience with analysing financial statements for financial institutions would be an advantage.
  • Highly capable business developer with a long-term track record of building high-value, trust based and long-lasting referral relationships.
  • Need to have a strong understanding of the mechanics and background in residential, development and commercial property and/or asset finance.
