C# Developer
My client within financial services based in Bromley, Kent are recruiting for a C# Developer.
As a C# Developer you will be contributing to the development of a highly successful financial services software platform by building new function and evolving the existing codebase to resolve defects and make best use of new tools and technologies.

C# Developer Responsibilities:
- Providing sophisticated solutions to clients on a range of platforms
- Working with Business Analysts to deliver new functionality and resolve defects
- Writing code in C#, HTML and JavaScript
- Writing SQL queries that are performant and scalable
- Analysing and debugging code in order to understand the behaviour of the system
- Working with the Senior Development team to validate technical designs
- Following a project plan and delivering tasks in a timely manner
C# Developer Essential Skills:
- Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or excellent 'A' level Grades in Science or Mathematics
- 1-3 years' experience as a Developer
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Practical, hands-on experience of C#, HTML and JavaScript
- Experience of building web-based applications in Web Forms and MVC
- Knowledge of RAZOR, JQuery, AJAX
- Knowledge of CSS, LESS
- Knowledge of Responsive Design (both pure CSS and frameworks e.g. Bootstrap)
- Experience of consuming and authoring Web Services (SOAP / REST)
- Proactive, organized, strong eye for detail, and able to work to deadlines
C# Developer Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience of writing SQL queries and stored procedures
- Ability to liaise directly with clients on technical subjects
