What the role entails:
Must have Certification and Aircraft Experience
Regulation
- Assist with the development of regulation, policy and guidance for aviation software, cyber security airworthiness and complex electronic hardware in the Programmable Elements (PE) sphere.
Certification
- Provide certification assurance of aviation Programmable Elements (PE) aspects of UK Military Registered Air Systems (MAA RA5800 series) as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the programmable elements field.
Integrity Management
- Provide SME advice to airworthiness process owners on aviation Programmable Elements (PE) issues relating to Integrity Management. A focus should be given to programmable elements.
Associated Responsibilities
- Researching and briefing aviation Programmable Elements (PE) issues that manifest as threats to air safety to the relevant stakeholders when requested by DSA-MAA-Cert-DepHd.
