I have an exciting contract position available with one of the UK's largest and most prestigeous defence companies in the UK for a Change and Configuration Manager on a contract basis. They are ideally looking for candidates with a wealth of experience with change and configuration strategy and management plans.

All candidates for this role must have active SC Clearance.

Change Management.

The CM shall provide Change Management Support to the project, including as a minimum:
* create, management and maintain Change Management Strategy
* create, management and maintain Change Management Plan(s)
* create, management and maintain Change Control Log(s)
* Fulfil and administer the Change Management function on behalf of the project. This is to include the administration of the full change management processes, in compliance with MOD policies and procedures, and is to include detailed, documented, impact assessments and audit trails;
* Documentation and regular update of assumptions and dependencies relating to Change Management;
* Attendance at meetings, governance and assurance activities (at all levels), support to tendering/ procurement activities

Configuration Management.

The CM shall provide Configuration Management Support to the Project, including as a minimum:
* Delivery of Configuration Management Strategy
* Delivery of the Configuration Management Plan(s)
* Control of the Configuration Management system within the Authority's SharePoint, this is to include maintenance of document libraries
* Delivery of the Document Control Log
* Fulfil and administer the Configuration Management function on behalf of the TRINITY project. This is to include the administration of the all configuration management processes, in compliance with MOD policies and procedures, and provide a configuration audit trail;
* Documentation and regular update of assumptions and dependencies relating to Document Control and Configuration Management;
* Attendance at meetings, governance and assurance activities (at all levels), support to tendering/ procurement activities
* Knowledge of O365 and can develop a process that is easy and automated for the wider team to use.
