An exciting opportunity for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor has arisen with a busy and well regarded Sussex based building consultancy. They are looking for someone with consultancy experience to join their team to help deliver a growing pipeline of work and to help develop and grow the business moving forwards.

The Chartered Quantity Surveyor can expect to further their exposure to a variety of different projects from offices and schools through to hospitals, universities and shopping centres. Some of your duties will include:

• Preparing budget estimates, tender documents & cost plans
• Preparing contract documentation
• Cost reporting
• Final account negotiations
• Project management
• Attending and hosting site progress meeting
• Networking to secure new clients and new work

In return, the Chartered Quantity Surveyor can expect a competitive salary & package that includes:

• Starting salary of £45,000 to c.£55,000

The successful Chartered Quantity Surveyor will need to have experience of working for a UK based cost consultancy and familiar with pre & post contract management on building projects. You'll need excellent communication skills and be confident when working under your own supervision.
