Job Opportunity: Chartered Building Surveyor/Chartered Quantity Surveyor
Location: Home-Based (must be within easy access to London, North Kent & Essex)
Salary: £47,000 - £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
My client is a growing consultancy specializing in building surveying & quantity surveying services across the South East. Their current focus includes facade cladding remediation, fire reinstatement works, and external facade refurbishment of older listed buildings. They are expanding rapidly and have a solid pipeline of work for the next 5 years. They are seeking a motivated Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS or CIOB) or Consultant Quantity Surveyor to join their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Contract Administrator and Employers Agent for various projects, primarily focusing on façade cladding remediation and other high-value contracts ranging from £300k to £5 million.
- Oversee and manage defect diagnosis works, planned maintenance programs, and party wall matters.
- Provide freeholder surveyor services.
- Collaborate with the Clerk of Works and IT/CAD support teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Work autonomously, with support available from senior colleagues and external technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MRICS or CIOB qualification is required.
- Experience in contract administration and employer's agent services.
- Previous exposure to cladding, fire reinstatement, or façade refurbishment projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent self-management and organizational skills.
- Full driving license and access to your own car.
- Ability to work independently from a home-based setup.
