Clinical Research Physician needed for a leading multinational pharmaceutical organisation who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Clinical Research Physician that takes pride in their work.
The successful Clinical Research Physician needs to be a fully qualified physician (MD or MD PhD) with extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in late stage clinical drug development. Due to the nature of this work being within the COVID-19 team, Respiratory and/or Immunology is highly desirable.
The role is focused on late stage COVID-19 clinical trials, where you will collaborate with the team with all aspects of clinical and scientific input and safety evaluation. You will also support and contribute to medical monitoring of trials. You will impact clinical project teams and assist the Global Clinical Head (GCH) with the design and interpretation process, as well as establishing clear design objectives for clinical programs and studies.
What the role of the Clinical Research Physician entails:
Some of the main duties of the Clinical Research Physician will include:
- Provide clinical expertise into the COVID-19 clinical development plans
- Build positive relationships and networks with internal and external scientific specialists and opinion leaders
- Work closely with colleagues in other functions including Patient Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Biometrics, and Clinical Operations
- Be involved primarily in Late Stage (Ph2b and later) clinical programmes and additionally collaborate with clinical colleagues supporting Early Stage programs as well as Medical Affairs colleagues
- Provide medical input into the content of core labelling texts and medical support for commercial activities, as well as the scientific component of the pricing and value strategy
What experience you need to be the successful Clinical Research Physician:
- Significant experience in the design, execution and interpretation of Late Stage clinical trials in the Respiratory or Immunology area or other therapeutic area/ specialty in clinical development
- Phenomenal interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience of leading and managing cross functional collaboration activities and a passion for customers
- Vaccine and/or mAb clinical development experience
