Cloud Network Engineer is required by our leading financial services organisation, based in Epsom,Surrey, who are looking to recruit a Cloud Network Engineer for the Installation, configuration, maintenance and planning of cloud and physical networking assets to ensure secure and reliable operation and Planning, Build, maintenance and lifecycle management of Cloud Infrastructure assets and systems
As the Cloud Network Engineer you will be CCNA or CCNP certified
As the Cloud Network Engineer your responsibilities will be:
* Establish and maintain network governance and procedures.
* Installation and maintenance of physical network assets, WAP, switches and Firewalls.
* Planning, configuration, and administration of cloud network assets.
* Provide network security support to Service Desk team.
* Configuring and maintaining firewall rules and standards.
* Configure and support 3rd party network integrations (VPN/MPLS/P2P)
Infrastructure Specific
* Deployment and configuration of cloud services
* Ongoing configuration and maintenance of Azure cloud services
* Produce configuration design documentation for proposed solutions
* Infrastructure-as-code based deployment (Terraform, ARM, Azure DevOps)
* Azure tenancy administration
As the Cloud Network Engineer you will have some of the skills/experience in the following:
* Experience of installing and maintaining Network assets and configurations
* DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, Static Routes, VOIP, Wi-Fi, LAN & WAN
* Cloud networking (Azure/AWS)
* Ideally Cisco Networking qualification (CCNA or CCNP)
* Cisco Switch & Firewall Installation and Administration
* Defining and maintaining Firewall rules.
* Previous experience working in a regulated environment
* Attention to detail and documentation
* Network monitoring tools (ManageEngine, SolarWinds/N-able, PRTG)
