A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Manager to join a leading main contractor working on HS2 in the West Midlands. The Commercial Manager will be joining a busy, professional site based team delivering large diameter piling, ground anchors, bulk earthworks, diaphragm walls, retaining walls, ground stabilisation and more.
The Commercial Manager will be a key member of the projects leadership team, offering input into project strategy, key decisions and forming important relationships with the clients team. Some of your other responsibilities will include:
- Taking accountability for the commercial, financial and procurement process across this part of the project
- Offering your advice and guidance to the wider project team covering everything from risk management and procurement through to financial reporting and management of the supply chain.
- Supporting the commercial team with all negotiations and providing expert knowledge & understanding of the NEC suite of contracts
