Commercial Manager needed for a multinational defence organisation based in London or Bristol who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Commercial Manager that takes pride in their work with experience in writing complex reports and commercial offers, managing complex contracts and experience in new business and contract negotiation. If you have a defence, technology or aerospace background that would be a bonus!
The successful candidate would desirably been eligible for security clearance and have a keen interest in defence and technology.
What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Commercial Manager will include:
- Leading commercial bids and proposals through to completion.
- Leading the Capture Team through the request for bid approval process.
- Meeting with external customers in the UK and overseas as well as meeting with Government Authorities.
What experience you need to be the successful Commercial Manager:
- Experience in new business and contract negotiation.
- Experience in managing complex contracts and bids.
- Experience with drafting and managing large and complex contracts.
- Experience with international contracting is desirable.
