Job Title: Commercial Manager

Location: Remote - with travel to one of the following sites as needed: High Wycombe /West London /Dorset

Day Rate: £DOE

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Manager to join our client's team on a contracting basis. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving commercial success through preparing quotations, contractual agreements, negotiations, and non-disclosure agreements. You will be managing contracts through to completion, including the bid process, and working within a client facing capacity.

The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Commercial Manager?

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable deals throughout the bid process.
  • Manage the contract process from initial phases through to completion.
  • Identify any risks within contractual terms and take action.
  • Prepare any legal documentation related to contracts including non-disclosure agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Ensure compliance across programmes, providing advice and acting where necessary.

What are we looking for in our next Commercial Manager:

  • Minimum of 5 years working within a Commercial management position
  • Strong experience in managing contracts from start through to completion, particularly around the bid phase
  • Experience working with both commercial and legal input, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Background in working within Defence / Military / Government or Aerospace would be advantageous
