Commissioning Engineer

Brief
We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer to join a leading highways technology and lighting consultancy who deliver services in transportation and the built environment. As a Commissioning Engineer you will be based roadside to deal with the commissioning and testing of roadside technology. Project will involve upgrading the motorway to a smart motorway.
It is desirable for the successful candidate to have a relevant Degree (NVQ, HNC/HND) in Civil Engineering, or another relevant discipline, and have a keen interest in being a Commissioning Engineer. If you have previous commercial experience as a Commissioning Engineer within Highways that would be a plus!
Role Responsibilities
Some of the main duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include:
- Inspecting roadside technology
- Testing roadside technology
- Fault Finding
- IT Configuration
- Resetting IP addresses
What experience you need to be the successful Commissioning Engineer:
- Educated to Degree level in Civil Engineering (or another relevant discipline)
- Highways/Motorways background
- ECS Card
- CSCS Card
- NRSWA
- G39
- IPAF
- First Aid
