Commissioning Engineer required to join a leading infrastructures services organisation based in London. The Commissioning Engineer will have an in-depth knowledge of traffic systems and traffic signal controllers as well as additional technologies and associated products. Reporting to the Senior Commissioning and Test Engineer, the Commissioning Engineer will work closely with the project team, the maintenance team and the customer as the commissioning team are the frontline face to face contact with the customers Engineers. There will be an even split between carrying out the commissioning along with building & testing of equipment.

The successful Commissioning Engineer would ideally have a relevant degree or have significant experience within an electrical engineering position. You will need to hold a full UK driving license for this role.

Some of the main duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include:

• Carry out the commissioning's, building & testing of equipment
• Responsible for the delivery of a quality Commissioning Traffic Signal and Testing Service
• Ensuring processes and quality using a data led approach to aid continuous improvement
• Be the technical point of reference to support other Field Engineers

What experience you need to be the successful Commissioning Engineer:

• Competent to Requirements of BS7671 18th Edition Regulations
• Competent to the Requirements of HERS8
• G39 Certificated
• Experience of Traffic Signal Systems and understanding of relevant technology principles.
• Experience in conducting Traffic Signal Controller configuration testing
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint and advanced commissioning software
