Job Title: Commissioning Engineer - Smart Buildings (Midlands)

Operating within the Midlands region, this is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary band of £30,000 - £50,000, along with a car and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: As a Commissioning Engineer, you will:

• Commission the installation of BEMS and Control systems in line with customer design requirements and project timelines.
• Maintain a collaborative working environment with internal and external stakeholders, providing support to junior resources.
• Validate software strategies and graphics created by dedicated applications resources.
• Perform physical wiring checks, plant start-ups, and troubleshoot system defects.
• Support customer validation processes and execute commissioning works and project handover procedures.
• Ensure health and safety standards on-site and report progress accurately to the Project Engineer.

Qualifications and Experience: We are looking for a candidate with:

• 3-5 years minimum experience as a commissioning Engineer or pre-commissioning Engineer in the UK BEMS & Building Controls industries.
• Extensive experience in commissioning Siemens PX, Trend IQ4, and/or Tridium systems.
• High-level expertise with Siemens Desigo CC and Trend IQ Vision, including protocol integration (M-Bus, Modbus, Bacnet).
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Recognized construction qualification (NVQ Level 5, HNC/HND, or higher) in a related discipline such as building, electrical, or mechanical services.
