Job Title: Components Engineer
Location: Stevenage
Work Style: Hybrid, 1 day per week on site (Stevenage), once per 3 months visit to Bolton site, and occasional travel to stakeholder and supplier sites.
The Opportunity:
Our leading defense client is seeking a Components Engineer to join their UK Component Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced engineer to make a significant impact. In this role, you will play a vital part in selecting, evaluating, and cataloging mechanical, electromechanical components, and materials used in our missile products. You will also ensure compliance with specific standards and effectively manage obsolescence.
As a Components Engineer, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the latest products and technologies to provide valuable support and advice to our customers. This involves regular interactions with relevant stakeholders and suppliers to stay current with industry advancements.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to local and international continuous improvement initiatives, defining best practices and fostering the adoption of agreed methodologies across international teams.

Proficiency in electromechanical components and materials.
Familiarity with REACH and RoHS regulations.
Strong communication skills.

Please Note:
