An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Construction Planning Engineer to join the regional construction division of a leading main contractor based in Reading. The Construction Planning Engineer will join a major player in the construction industry, an international organisation that a highly regarded for their expertise in providing construction solutions to private and public sector clients.
The Construction Planning Engineer will be based out of their office in Reading and split their working week between the office assisting in the preparation of tender programmes and visiting various live site in the Thames Valley region.
The Construction Planning Engineer will be involved on projects throughout their full life-cycle, from tender stage to completion. They will work closely with the Operations Director be the point of contact for all planning related matters for their regional business. They will be involved on a projects covering a wide range of build sectors that include commercial, residential, leisure, education and industrial to name a few.

Candidate
- Construction Planning expeirence is essenital, previously been involved on building projects such as commercial, residential, leisure, education, healthcare, industrial etc
- Previous experience working within a main contracting environment
- Site based construction experience
- Competent user of Asta Powerproject software
- Good understanding of construction and its techniques
- Strong communication skills
On offer is a competitive salary of between £60-75,000 per annum which is dependent upon experience plus an attractive package which includes a company car or car allowance of £6,000, travel allowance, pension, healthcare, life assurance, private medical, 33 days holiday and other great benefits.
