An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cost Manager to join a leading cost consultancy at their offices in Manchester. The Cost Manager will be joining a growing team and working on a number of secured and up and coming healthcare projects across Lancashire and Yorkshire.
The Cost Managers first project will be a £30m+ hospital upgrade where you'll be working closely with the NHS Trust, providing employers agent services across the 2 year programme. You'll be site based and working closely with the Operations team, taking the project from pre construction through to final account negotiation.
The successful Cost Manager will be given an opportunity to take on a key role on this exciting, secured project whilst working for a business that rewards it employees on merit with ongoing career progression and strong financial incentives. Cost Managers considering this opportunity will need to have 2+ years of consultancy experience in the UK and a successful track record of delivering projects procured under the NEC3 contract. You'll also need excellent communication skills, a motivated and driven approach to your work and a 'can do' attitude. Candidates with healthcare experience will be at an advantage. Candidates from a main contracting background will also be considered but must have NEC and healthcare experience.
