We have a brilliant opportunity for a Cyber Security Consultant to join a specialist team in a fantastic consultancy that has offices in the UK and Internationally. They are a specialist consultancy mainly focussed on the Aviation Sector that are now recruting in the Cyber Security area due to huge demand for their services from clients in the UK and overseas.

They provide technical consultancy services to major airports, air navigation service providers, the aviation industry and even governments on improving the efficiency and safety of aviation operations. They also conduct policy and strategic analysis on an ever-expanding range of aviation topics.
As a subsidiary of a global infrastructure group, they are able to tap-in to a growing network of opportunities from a parent company that has the aviation sector at its centre.
In this role you will be working with a leader in the implementation of Safety and Security Management Systems to be used in Airports all over the world.

They are now ready to add to a team that has a great reputation in management system implementation, Safety Case development, Safety Risk Assessments for operational and technology change, and cyber security risk assessment and management.

This role is perfect for a cyber security professional with at least 2 years' experience of this specialist skill set to help meet the growth plans.

Applicants should have a track record of cyber security activities in a safety critical industry (aviation preferred, but other modes of transport, petrochemicals, nuclear, etc. are welcome).

Candidates must be knowledgeable with Risk management activities such as -
- Undertaking cybersecurity risk assessments
- Defining and implementing risk mitigations
- Supporting incident management
- Conducting audits
- Experience in applying these practices in an operational domain is essential.
It could include experience in applying the principles of ISO27001.

- Flexibility to transfer sound operational and/or technical knowledge into a consultancy role

- Stakeholder engagement
- Project management skills
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to create reports
- Deliver presentations to the most senior of audiences, so it needs to be right
- High attention to detail
