We currently have a vacancy for a Database Developer (Birt Reports Expert) who will be based in Brussels, Belgium.
The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises - both are in Brussels.
Your tasks:
- Design BIRT reports, write and optimize associated SQL queries;
- Design User interface screens based on graphical studios (toolbox) and JavaScript;
- Analyse and implement new functionalities;
- Apply corrective maintenance to existing systems;
- Deploy new releases in different environments;
- Analyse, implement and maintain the database model;
- Write tests and technical documentation.
Requirements
- Maximum 15 years of combined academic and professional experience in IT;
- Maximum 11 years of IT professional experience designing reports, writing associated SQL queries;
- Good knowledge of BIRT - minimum 6 months or any other Java related reporting tools;
- Minimum 1 year of experience in JavaScript and associated frameworks (Angular, Node, etc.);
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle Database, SQL and PL/SQL;
- Knowledge of Java;
- Fluent in English;
- Fluent in French.
