My client is a successful Civils and Structural Engineering consultancy and they are looking for an experienced Design Engineer - Drainage with a background in Highways and Drainage.
You should be a motivated individual with an extensive knowledge and experience in preparing detailed designs and specifications of drainage and highway networks for developments.
Design Engineer - Drainage Duties;
- The majority of this position will be the design of drainage and highways for the Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure and Industrial sectors
- Have an understanding of drainage design, planning, flood risk, ground conditions, levels and more
- Undertaking site surveys
- Liaison with clients and key stakeholders
- Design and drafting using AUTOCAD
- Carry out hands on design
- Review legalisations
- Site modelling
- Working on adoptive roads and drainage
- Supporting lead engineer
Design Engineer - Drainage Requirements
- Experience in highways and drainage works
- Previous experience / familiar with designs and drawings Sector 38/278 and 104
- Ability to work on own, self-starter
- Extensive experience in highways / drainage works
- Competent with AutoCAD / MicroStation / MicroDrainage / Civils 3D / PDS
- Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
