An exciting opportunity for an Electrical Project Engineer has come up working for an industry-leading renewable energy organisation based in Cornwall.
Job: Electrical Project Engineer
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Location: Cornwall + Onsite
Type: Permanent
Benefits: 22 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme, shared company vehicle, fuel card, on-site parking and overnight allowances.
As Electrical Project Engineer, you will join the existing team and support the companies 360-degree service, focusing on solar PV and onshore wind turbine projects.
Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform high and low voltage installation tasks as needed across all projects.
- Carryout planned and reactive maintenance activities across various sites as required.
- Engage in the design and specification of high and low voltage electrical systems, coordinating with subcontracted designers for high voltage design work.
- Analyse site performance to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Proactively identify, document, and address faults with a problem-solving mindset.
- Prepare and complete electrical designs and related reports.
- Monitor and review asset-managed renewable energy sites on a rotating schedule, including providing weekend coverage
Electrical Project Engineer Requirements:
- Experience working within the electrical and renewable energy industries
- C&G 2391 or equivalent
- Level 3 Technical and Vocational qualification or Diploma
- 18th Edition
- High Voltage experience
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to work and travel throughout the UK and work overtime
- Computer Literate
The following skills are desired but not essential:
- CAD Experience
- HV Authorised Person / Switching Course
- Am2
- Experience in communications set-up and configuration
