Department: Operations and Maintenance / Solar PV

Salary: £38,000 Per annum

Location: Nottingham

Join a dynamic and forward-thinking Operations & Maintenance team as an Electrician in one of the leading renewable energy organisations.

As an Electrician, you will play a vital role in optimising ground-mounted Solar PV systems, ensuring peak generation, addressing reactive faults promptly, and executing maintenance tasks on schedule-all while prioritising personal and site safety.

As an Electrician you will be responsible for:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on various inverter technologies.
• Identify and report safety and quality issues proactively.
• Collaborate within a team, providing support to colleagues and the field management team.
• Uphold health and safety standards for oneself, colleagues, subcontractors, and the public.
• Maintain the provided vehicle, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• JIB Gold card electrician (or equivalent).
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in GMPV is advantageous.
• Preferred health and safety qualification.
• High Voltage (HV) experience is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

• Full UK driving license.
• Electrical competence.
• IT literate
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and disciplines within the renewable energy sector.
• Self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Accustomed to working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Clear and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information:

• The successful candidate will undergo training on utility-scale Renewable Energy Systems
