Provide engineering input to the development and maintenance of Ship Air equipment CCU's (Certificates of Clearance for Use).
Support where appropriate, provide engineering guidance to lead OM (Operations Manager) as required to aid in the timely rectification of Ship Air equipment defects.
Provide engineering guidance and advice to the lead OM's in order to maximise Ship Air equipment availability.
Provide engineering input into the development and maintenance of Ship Air equipment Safety documentation and associated review forums attending HazIds as appropriate.
Provide engineering input into the development and maintenance of Ship Air equipment Security Accreditation documentation and associated review forums.
Provide engineering input into the development and scrutiny of Ship Air equipment support contract documentation.
Provide engineering input as required to new platforms transitioning to Ship Air management in due course
ESSENTIAL / DESIRABLE SKILLS
- It is essential that the candidate has an advanced level of knowledge and experience in MOD processes, methods and documentation, predominantly focussed in the Maritime domain.
- It would be desirable to have a level of knowledge and experience of Ship Air Master Equipment
- It would be desirable to have experience in providing engineering support to the Safety and Security Functions
- It would be desirable to have Engineering experience in providing support to the generation of contract ITT and ITN documentation
