Engineering Manager needed for an FMCG Manufacturer based in Rochester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Engineering Manager that takes pride in their work undertaking tasks.
The successful candidate would have a relevant qualification within Engineering and have a keen interest in within the FMCG market.

What the role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Direct involvement in ongoing projects
- MUST have track record as Engineering Manager with hands on experience working within the food & beverage industries
- Manage Engineering personnel including service and factory engineers and the projects / works
- Collaborate with Sales and produce production schedules, identify equipment involved and plan for resources, skills and materials
- Monitor and report on activities and related costs versus plans and budgets
- Ongoing improvement and development of Engineering Standards and Engineering Compliance Policies
- Upskill staff with training according to the needs of upcoming projects and encouraging the development of talent within the team
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to drive quality, cost, reliability, and safety performance.
- Strong background in Engineering
- Good knowledge of engineering requirements to estimate labour hours, material requirement and skills needed to complete a job
- Good knowledge of planning, scheduling and stock control
- Demonstrated project planning and project management skills
