Job Title: Estimator

Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 + package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially astute Estimator to join a busy and growing fit out and refurbishment contractor in Central London. The Estimator will quickly become an integral part of a thriving estimating team, working on tenders for projects valued up to £10m across the education, healthcare, commercial, leisure and heritage sectors.
As an Estimator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for tenders
- Working closely with the pre-construction and commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare accurate cost assessments
- Maintaining relationships with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing information
- Contributing to tender submission meetings and strategy discussions
- Supporting other estimators and the design team where possible
The Ideal Candidate:
- 5-7 years of experience as an Estimator within the fit out and refurbishment sectors
- Strong understanding of estimating processes, pricing, and tendering
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and numerical skills
- Driven, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
