Events Operations Manager
Events Operations Manager needed for a multinational utilities' organisation based in London. The successful candidate will have experience in development in people management, finance and Project development.
The Events Operations Manager will need to have previous experience in a hospitality background and if you have any bar/restaurant experience that would be a plus!

What the Events Operations Manager role entails:
Some of the main duties of the Events Operations Manager will include:
- Managing the events/food/beverage provisions and supervising catering / waiting staff at functions and events
- Overseeing the management of facilities, e.g. checking event bookings and allocation of resources/staff including planning shifts and rotas whilst ensuring Health and Safety regulations are strictly observed
- Maintaining stock levels and ordering new supplies as required ensuring budgeting and financial targets and forecasts are met
- Recruiting and training permanent and casual staff
- Monitoring the quality of the product and service provided
- Keeping up-to-date with trends and developments in the industry, such as menus or trends in consumer tastes whilst maximizing sales and meeting profit and financial expectations
What experience you need to be the successful Events Operations Manager:
- A strong people manager with the ability to think on your feet and take initiative with tact and diplomacy
- An appreciation of customer expectations and commercial demands whilst working under pressure
- A well-organised approach to work; flexibility and the ability to solve problems in a pressurised environment
- Experience working in the bar/events industry is essential.
