Are you an experienced Facilities Manager looking for a dynamic role in a thriving technical consultancy? Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Facilities Manager. Located in the vibrant heart of West London, their company is at the forefront of technical innovation, and they need a facilities Manager to ensure their workplace is efficient, safe, and conducive to productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of their facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment for our employees.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety policies to maintain compliance with regulations and promote a secure workplace.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions for facility-related services.
  • Space Planning: Collaborate with teams to optimise space, plan for growth, and enhance the overall functionality.
  • Security Management: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard company assets, information, and personnel.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Drive initiatives to promote environmental sustainability within the workplace.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role.
  • IOSH Qualified
  • Educational Industry Experience
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices is a plus.
