Finance Analyst - Real Estate

£55,000 - £65,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Real Estate Finance Analyst required by a Real Estate AIM listed lending platform to be based in their Central London office. The Finance Analyst will be able to grow with the business and play an integral role within the investment team, reporting directly to the Chief Investment Officer. The business is involved in handling a wide range of lending proposals, from straight-forward bridging and development finance to lending to more complex structures.

The main duties of the Finance Analyst will comprise of:

  • Monitoring and producing analysis of the entire loan book
  • Maintaining and developing the analysis of the funding requirements
  • Supporting the CIO in new funding line negotiations including production of necessary data and reports
  • Design business analysis and data recording systems for use across the business
  • Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
  • Accurately analyse and collect data for various types of business reports
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Support the business, in reaching their goals through analysis
  • Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends


The required skills and experience of the Finance Analyst are:

  • One to three years of experience as a Finance Analyst or Business Analyst
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to co-workers
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
