Finance Manager (Qualified)

c£55,000 + Bonus & Benefits Package

The role with be responsible for day-to-day financial governance of our property developer client based in London.

The candidate will be expected to bring to the table insights into the fiscal health of various business lines, fiscal discipline and maintain accuracy of reporting, audit and budget adherence.

You will be required to collaborate with stake holders to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of day-to-day accounting and create opportunities for optimisation.

The candidate will be required to assist in guiding senior members in making sound business decisions in the long and short term. Reporting in to the Group Financial Controller.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for ensuring that the financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively, specifically for the business lines.
  • Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing bank balances including balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems.
  • Responsible for bank reconciliation and cash flow forecasting.
  • Work closely with the Group FC and develop budgets and financial plans for the group.
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
  • Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.
  • Assist the Group FC with year-end audits and liaise with auditors.
  • Assist in management of the month-end process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Board Information.
  • Preparing /posting of month end journals and production of MIS.
  • Reviewing and developing of accounting systems and processes for the wider business.
  • Raising of sales invoices and credit control.
  • Work closely with the Projects team and be responsible for realisation of fees.
  • Responsible for timely and correct system upload of invoices and on time supplier payment.
  • Independently look after governance and compliance.

Qualifications Required:

  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strong FP&A skills.
  • ACA qualified.
  • Current experience of working within the property finance space essential.
