The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Goods In Inspector?

  • Inspected and handled in accordance with company operating standards, ensuring goods are adequately packaged to prevent in house damage.
  • Maintaining documentation controls in support of the Goods Inwards Inspection processes to which he/she is assigned.
  • Participate in the 5S and continuous improvement process and initiatives.
  • Able to conduct CMM inspection and support management of Calibration tools
  • Reporting all NCs (Non-conformances) issues in the MRB platform and returning defectives back to the suppliers/vendors are rework or replacement.

What are we looking for in our next Goods In Inspector?

  • Proven experience in a goods inwards inspection or similar quality control role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced inspection techniques and tools, including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Strong understanding of quality standards and specifications, particularly ISO 9001 or equivalent.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and software, such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Knowledge of material handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods.
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and maintaining high-quality standards.
